What we did

Theme development for Late August Merchandising, an artist-owned merch company that runs storefronts for a roster of other musicians as well as its own, on a custom Dawn derivative.

The challenge

Challenge

Late August isn't a single-brand store — it operates a four-store artist network, each one carrying a different musician's merch, plus a B2B 'sell with us' funnel aimed at labels and managers deciding where to place production work. Two very different buyers, fans and B2B prospects, need to find their way through the same underlying platform without either one feeling like an afterthought, across a catalogue that runs past 250 products.

What we did

Approach

We built a custom Dawn derivative with the navigation and landing structure to carry a four-store network and the B2B acquisition funnel alongside it, rather than splitting the businesses across separate platforms.

The result

Outcome

The network runs on one shared theme foundation instead of four separate one-off builds, which is what makes adding another artist storefront a configuration exercise rather than a new project.
