Analytics is off until you turn it on
We ask once, in a banner on your first visit, and we set no analytics cookie unless you say yes. Until you do, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all — it is absent from the page rather than present and switched off. Declining is a single click, the same as accepting, and the answer is remembered.
If you turn analytics on, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-DT5VH37EJ1) sets two cookies: `_ga`, which distinguishes a returning visitor from a new one, and `_ga_DT5VH37EJ1`, which groups page views into a single visit. Both are read by Google. Turning analytics back off deletes both.
The one cookie that is not your choice
Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our contact form from automated abuse, may set a cookie as part of verifying that a submission comes from a real visitor. It is strictly necessary for the form to work, is set only in connection with the form, and carries no analytics or advertising function — so it is outside the analytics choice above, and there is no version of this site that submits enquiries without it.
What we do not set
We do not run Google Tag Manager, retargeting pixels, or any third-party advertising cookie on this site, whether or not you turn analytics on. Your theme preference (light/dark), your analytics answer, and first-touch attribution data (the page and campaign parameters you first arrived with, used only if you submit the contact form) are stored in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and never leave your device unless you submit the form.
Controlling cookies
Your answer is stored in this browser, so it applies to this browser only — a different browser or device will ask again, and clearing your site data makes this one ask again too. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to browse this site or submit the contact form.
